Michigan rocker, Kid Rock, has responded to comedian Conan O'Brien's Oscars joke by calling it "not a very good one." The joke was made during the 98th Academy Awards, when O'Neill suggested that conservative viewers could find an alternative show hosted by Kid Rock hosted by him. This follows Kid Rock's performance at Turning Point USA's "All-American Halftime Show" which was criticized by critics for being political. The criticism was largely due to the choice of Puerto Rican-born reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny as the halftime show headliner for the Super Bowl, which was largely seen as a response to the NFL's choice of Bad Bunny.
