Savitha Shan, a 21-year-old student at the University of Texas at Austin, was among three people killed in the mass shooting outside Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden. Her parents have expressed their devastation in a statement expressing their love for their daughter and the other victims. They have also planned a private celebration of life ceremony for Shan.
