Sarah Michelle Gellar Pays Tribute To ‘Buffy’ Co-Star Nicholas Brendon: “I Saw You Nicky”

Nicholas Brendon, a co-star of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and actor of "Scooby gang" television, has died at age 54. Following his death, Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a tribute to him on Instagram, quoting one of Xander's lines from the show. Brendon starred as Xander for the entire seven-season run from 1997 to 2003 and was one of the few characters without supernatural powers to help Buffy save the world. His family confirmed his death in a statement that they are heartbroken to share their brother and son's passing.
