Tewksbury wins 7-on-7 championship, ends BB&N’s reign

Tewksbury won the 2026 Northeast 7v7 Football New England Championship, defeating Buckingham Browne and Nichols 32-26 in triple overtime. The win ends BB&N's reign as the top two teams in the competition. The showcase featured 10 teams who had previously qualified across their summer programs. The semifinals included Masconomet (Pool 1 winner) and Tewksburry (Pool 2 winner) vs. Peabody (Pool 3) simultaneously on each end of the field. The overtime format allowed both teams a shot from the 10-yard line and two downs to score, allowing them to go for one point from the 5 or two points from the ten.
