Rhamell Burke, the same unhinged man who killed a retired kindergarten teacher who shoved him down a flight of subway stairs in New York City's transit system, has been arrested for the third time in a month. The previous victim, a 23-year-old woman, said she was on a train home from a night out with her friend when Burke, 32, approached them and said something unintelligible as they tried to move to the next train car. He then "donkey-kicked" her friend in the back and pushed him through into the other car. The victim managed to escape his grasp and ran off the train platform with a friend, but the pair decided not to press charges. Burke was also arrested three times in February for assault, burglary, resisting arrest, drug and weapons charges, and was charged with burglary on February 14 for allegedly stealing a shovel.
