As the shadow of GTA 6 looms, Just Cause lead isn't put off by comparisons to Rockstar's goliath as he prepares to release Samson: "There are times when you want to put GTA down and pick up something else"

Just Cause lead and Avalanche Studios co-founder Christofer Sundberg is not deterred by comparisons to Grand Theft Auto (GTA 6) as he prepares to release his rival, Samson, which has been compared to GTA 6. The game is being developed by Liquid Swords, a studio founded by Sundberg, and features a gritty city environment with open-world districts full of fast cars, fists, and the law on your tail. Despite these comparisons, Sundberg remains confident that Samson will offer something new when it launches tomorrow, April 8. He also mentioned that prospective publishers have not given Samson enough time to shine due to their limited playtime.
