Kansas City airport bathroom proposal fails to advance

A proposal by Councilman Nathan Willett to change all gender bathrooms at the Kansas City Airport failed after no one on the council called for a "second" on the item. The proposal, which was introduced following the arrest of an airport restaurant employee accused of filming women under stallors, requires a second person to support in order to trigger a discussion and vote. Willett responded that the calls for the change came from the general public and that the issue of more women-only stalls is not related to the criminal incident.
