A 20-year-old woman who sued both Google and Microsoft, claiming they created a harmful and addictive product for children, has been awarded $3 million. The woman claimed that Meta's Instagram and Google's YouTube had contributed to mental health issues as a child. The trial was held in Los Angeles Superior Court and questioned whether Meta intentionally tried to lure children onto its products.
