Worker Dies After He’s Trapped Between Forklift and Excavator in Workplace Incident

A worker was killed at a construction site in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 8. The incident reportedly occurred when the electronics on the forklift suddenly turned off and the worker was unable to brake and move away from another worker, Stephen Mattson, who was operating an excavator at the bottom of the hill. The worker died at the scene. Police are investigating the incident.
