Lexus has launched the 2026 Lexus ES EV, a luxury electric sedan with over 300 miles of range and prices starting under $50,000. The vehicle has undergone a complete redesign inside and out, including a new fully electric version. The new model is the first core Lexus model transformed into a "multi-platform" vehicle with EV and hybrid powertrains. The car is available in two grades: the ES 350e, a front-wheel-drive (FWD) model, and the ES 500e, an all-worldly model with Premium and Luxury trim options. The hybrid version of the ES is available for purchase starting at $48,795 and is expected to arrive in June 2026. The 2026 ES has a built-in NACS port for recharging at Tesla Superchargers and can charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes under ideal conditions.
