The third “No Kings” protest in downtown Valparaiso, Indiana, saw over 1,000 protestors join in in memory of late husband Karl Lutze, a former Valparaso University theology professor and staff member of the Lutheran Human Relations Association of America. The demonstration was held outside the Porter County courthouse and was part of a larger effort to make the world better for younger generations. The protest was part part of about 3,000 nationwide protests against President Donald Trump's administration. Counterprotestors, including Scott and Pam Manos, also attended the demonstration, which also included anti-abortion signs. Timothy Leitzke, pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church, spoke to demonstrators via megaphone before their march to the courthouse and square.
