US states, cities challenge Trump decision to revoke basis of US climate regulations

A group of 25 states, cities, and counties led by New York and California have sued President Donald Trump's administration over his decision to repeal the scientific findings that underpinned the basis of federal climate regulations. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, also challenges the Environmental Protection Agency's decision to remove tailpipe rules from cars and trucks.
