San Diego icon Las Cuatro Milpas is back in Barrio Logan

San Diego's beloved Mexican restaurant, Las Cuatro Milpas, is reopening its doors in a new location at the Mercado del Barrio mixed-use development on National Avenue. The Estudillo family, who first opened the restaurant in 1933, sold the original building for $2.2 million in November due to financial issues and faced temporary closures due to health code violations. The restaurant is expected to increase menu prices but will now be able to pay with a card, not just cash, and plans to sell merch.
