Comedian Chelsea Handler has accused Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines of leaving their L.A. home in a "toxic" condition five years after she purchased it from them. She alleges that the situation was so bad that she still hasn't moved into the house. She also mentioned RFK Jr.'s position as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and her shocked at the state in which he and Hines allegedly left the home. This is not the first time Handler has made public about her problematic real estate purchases. In an interview with MarketWatch in 2025, she stated that she owns a lot of real estate and that her biggest financial mistake was turning a five-bedroom house into a two-bedroom home.
