New solar energy project planned for East St. Louis

The city of East St. Louis is planning a new solar energy project for the intersection of North 29th Street and Illinois Avenue, the former site of the Little League baseball fields. The project aims to promote long-term energy sustainability and support the regional power grid and increase access to renewable energy resources. Additionally, the project could provide additional opportunities for the community, including job opportunities.
