Treasury yields rise as investors weigh escalating U.S.-Iran war

The US.S. Treasury yields have risen as investors assess the escalating U.S.-Iran war, with the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield rising nearly 4 basis points to 4.09%. The 30-year bond also increased by over 2 basis points. The Israeli government is retaliating against both Iran and Lebanon at once, following Hezbollah's launch of missiles and drones towards Tel Aviv. Fears of an energy supply disruption have also increased after reports that Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz and threatened to fire on vessels attempting to reach it, leading to increased oil prices.
