Louisville Metro Police is investigating after an officer was hit by a car while investigating a deadly shooting in Shawnee, Ohio. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on the night of the incident, which occurred following a ShotSpotter alert for possible shots fired in the area. The officer who was hit was conscious and alert as they were transported to the hospital for further treatment. The man who was shot and subsequently died at the scene was found dead.
