Medical tech company Stryker is restoring its computers and internal network following a cyberattack that allowed pro-Iranian hackers to remotely wipe tens of thousands of employee devices. The breach, believed to be the first major cyberattack in the US in response to the Trump administration's war in Iran, was contained to the company's internal Microsoft environment and its internet-connected medical products are safe to use. The hackers may have accessed the company’s Microsoft InTune dashboards, which allows for remote management of employee laptops and mobile devices. While the cause of the breach is under investigation, Strykers has seen no indication of ransomware or malware.
