Preservation group asks judge to block reported Trump’s planned renovation of East Potomac Golf Course

A preservation watchdog group, the DC Preservation League, has asked a federal judge to block the Trump administration's plans to close East Potomac Golf Links for renovations. The work, which will begin on Monday, is expected to be completed at a later date. The group's latest filing asks U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes to prevent the administration from disposing dirt, debris or refuse from the White House East Wing construction project at the course. This comes after the administration terminated the lease of the National Links Trust (NLT) to operate the courses.
