Oklahoma weather: Storms possible, fire risk high in western Oklahoma

The National Weather Service has issued a warning for Monday, with a marginal risk of thunderstorm formation, but any severe weather could occur. The atmosphere over Oklahoma is becoming more favorable for the creation of thunderstorms, but several factors are working against this. The main source of lift on any storm will be the dryline, but wind direction won't be ideal for the formation of thunder storms. Despite the threat of a tornado, most computer models have yet to predict any significant storms. The most likely occurrence is in northwest and far western Oklahoma.
