Ronda Rousey has accused the UFC of becoming 'one of the worst places to go' for fighters, stating that it is now more than justifiable for athletes to make a living and be paid fairly. This comes after a surprise announcement that Rousey's upcoming comeback fight with Gina Carano would be under the Most Valuable Promotions banner, not UFC. Despite this, Rousey and UFC CEO Dana White have a close relationship and appear to be a friendly rivalry. She accused the company of short-term greed and not thinking about the future of the sport. She also suggested that it could afford to pay their athletes at least a living wage to match those in other sports.
