More than 116,000 customers without power in Michigan after high winds

High winds have left more than 116,000 DTE Energy and Consumers Energy customers without power in Michigan. DTE reported it had 79,000 affected customers before 8 a.m. EST on Saturday. It is estimated that 70% of affected customers will be restored and nearly all will have their power restored by the end of the day.
