BioNTech's founding couple Sahin, Tuereci to leave to set up new venture

The cofounders of German biotechnology company, BioNTech, Ugur Sahin and Oezlem Tuereci, will leave the company by the end of 2026 to set up their own company. The company is currently working on an executive search to identify replacements for the positions they hold.
