European police email 75,000 people asking them to stop DDoS attacks

A coalition of global law enforcement agencies have sent emails to over 75,000 alleged cybercriminals, asking them to stop using distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) services. These services allow individuals to launch cyberattacks without the need to have their own infrastructure operationalised. The operation, dubbed Operation Power OFF, also resulted in four arrests and the seizure of 53 domains.
