TLC's Chilli addresses reports that she donated to Trump's re-election campaign

TLC singer, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, has denied allegations that she made donations to Donald Trump's presidential campaign in 2024. The Federal Election Commission revealed that Thomas donated over $1000 to Republican fundraisers linked to Trump's 2024 re-election efforts. This followed a revelation that Chilli had reshared a video claiming that Michelle Obama was not born female and that she was once registered to vote as a man in the state of Illinois. Despite this, Chilli maintains that she has long supported the Obamas and does not support any policies rooted in harm or division. A spokesperson for Chilli stated that there were in fact 17 donations made over time after being "set up as automatic recurring contributions".
