Former employee commits fraud against Saratoga dental practice

Theft by false pretenses occurred at a time when a person used their personal information to open a fraudulent bank account, causing a loss of approximately $300,000. A former employee of a Saratoga dental practice allegedly altered previously issued payroll checks and then redeposedited them for an undisclosed amount of money. No financial loss was reported. The person responsible for the fraudulent registration tab was also arrested.
