Ethan Dietz, a 20-year-old student at Connors State College in Oklahoma, died from a head injury during a basketball game on Nov. 25. Lawyers for the family allege that Dietz was hit by another player's elbow and that the team did not provide proper medical care before returning him to the court. The school provided few details about Dietz's injury and subsequent care. Following Dietz’s death, the college announced that longtime men’�s basketball coach and athletics director, Bill Muse, would be stepping down for “personal reasons’.
