Shōgun Adds 5 To Season 2 Cast Of FX Drama Series; Production Underway

FX has added five new cast members to its Emmy-winning drama series, Shōgun, ahead of its second season. Risei Kukihara, Ryô Satô, Seishiro Nishida, Mantaro Koichi, and Takashi Yamaguchi have been added. Production is currently underway in Vancouver. The first season of Shōgan won 18 Emmy Awards, setting the record for the most Emmy Awards by a series in a single season. The series is an adaptation of James Clavell’s bestselling novel and is produced by Rachel Kondo & Justin Marks.
