Despite small delays and small lines at Oakland San Francisco Bay airport, many passengers remained hopeful about the situation. Joseph Cerletti, a Lead TSA Officer at the Oakland airport and assistant chief of the local TSA union, expressed optimism about the possibility of receiving pay. However, he warned that while the money will go towards bills, it will not be an immediate relief at airport security lines.
