A new exhibition at London's Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) explores the work of late Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli, who redefined fashion over the early 20th century. The exhibition, "Schiaparellas: Fashion Becomes Art," aims to show that fashion can change how we see beauty standards, beauty standards or the purpose of clothing itself. The show, which will open on March 28, combines Schiapparelli's work with contemporary designers Daniel Roseberry to showcase their innovative designs that shift our notions of female beauty and power. The V&A's senior curator of fashion, Sonnet Stanfill, emphasised the collaboration between Schiamparelli and other artists involved in the creative process.
