Actor and philanthropist, RJ Mitte, has stated that poor representation of people with disabilities in Hollywood is detrimental to those who actually have them. He addressed the issue during a virtual interview with Axios' Sarah Fischer at the event. Mitte noted that while Hollywood has made progress in representation, there are still instances of bias towards the minority. He warned that misinformation and artificial intelligence are prevalent in media.
