The Giants have been shut out for the second consecutive game in their season, with manager Tony Vitello planning to make changes to the team's lineup after their 3-0 loss to the Yankees. This is the first time in the franchise's 143-year history that the team has been blanked in consecutive games. Vitello, who started the season with the same lineup, has expressed a desire to shake things up and predict some variance due to the new pitcher, Will Warren, on Saturday. The team's performance has been disappointing despite adding Luis Arraez and Harrison Bader to their lineup. The Giants have yet to challenge a pitch on offense, despite watching the Yankees twice.
