Man sentenced to 43 years in prison for El Cajon stabbing death

Gregory Daniel Carlomagno, 45, has been sentenced to 43 years and eight months in prison for the stabbing death of 71-year-old Steven Barron. The stabbing occurred when Barron was giving Carlomogno a ride to a store when his car broke down and he stabbed him. At trial, Carlomaggno claimed self-defence and attempted to steal a vehicle from a driver but was arrested.
