American soccer legend Landon Donovan has criticized soccer player Noahkai Banks for not joining the United States or Germany. Banks, who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, has played for both teams in his youth and adult life. Despite receiving an invitation to the USMNT March camp prior to the World Cup and process to select players, Banks declined the offer. Donovan believes that Banks should no longer be part of the U.S. program and stated that if he does not wish to play for the U., "good riddedance."
