New surveys reveal that the cost of artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence) is often underestimated, but the rewards are well worth it, according to these surveys. The research was conducted by digital workforce coaching and development company Better Up and Stanford University's Social Media Lab, which quantified the costs of businesses dealing with AI slop, such as slick slides, lengthy reports, overly tightened summaries, or code without context. The study also found that 40 percent of participants reported they received useless or flawed content in the previous month alone and spent an average of two hours per week cleaning each instance of it up, which cost their employers anaverage of $186 in lost time and productivity per month, or $9 million annually for a company with 10,000 workers. However, the experience gained from these growing pains could increase confidence in the apps’ production and create more job creation than losses from the tech.
