The Dallas Stars beat the Vegas Golden Knights 2-1, marking their third consecutive loss to the team. Jamie Benn scored the go-ahead goal on a power play, while Jake Oettinger stopped 25 of 26 shots. The Stars extended their points streak to 13 games. Jack Eichel scored for the Golden Knights, who have lost three consecutive games and six of their last seven. Despite this loss, the Stars are 27-0-3 this season when leading after two periods. The UNLV men's basketball team will play in the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship against Wyoming on March 11. The Runnin' Rebels are currently ranked No. 8 and averaging 80.2 points per game.
