No. 2 Texas Tech softball team has lost their first Big 12 game of the season to No. 12/13 Arizona, who won 9-0 in five innings. Despite a high strikeout total of 8, NiJaree Canady allowed nine runs, four earned, and Samantha Lincoln closed the game with a successful final inning. The game was played in the third and fifth innings. The Red Raiders will continue their series against the Wildcats tomorrow.
