Madbouly reviews FY 2026/2027 government investment estimates

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly reviewed proposed government investment estimates for the 2026/2027 fiscal year for the country's economic and social development plan. The meeting included Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Hussein Issa, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, and Planning and Economic Development Minister Ahmed Rostom. The plan aims to bolster the state's efforts towards comprehensive development and higher economic growth rates. The proposed allocations target infrastructure, human development, the Universal Health Insurance system, Haya Karima projects, and electricity.
