Ramapo Police found two people drunk in a taxi at a shopping center, with one of the passengers being a 24-year-old resident of Montebello. The driver, who was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and obstructing governmental administration, attempted to flee the vehicle by driving over the curb towards the state highway. The passenger was only 15 years old, and the driver was additionally charged under Leandra’s Law for Felony DWI. He was arraigned before the Village of Airmont Justice and released on his own recognizance.
