Paramount Reveals Jeff Shell’s Severance Pay Terms as It Syndicates Debt for Warners Deal

Jeff Shell is leaving Paramount Skydance as president and director of the company, but he will receive cash payments equal to the salary and target bonus he would be eligible for over the next 12 months. Shell's contract calls for a $3.5 million salary and $1.5M target bonus, and he will be eligible to accelerated vesting of his restricted stock units (RSUs) that would have vested over the course of the year following his separation. Paramount also revealed a significant restructuring of its debt related to the Warner Bros. Discovery mega-deal. The company has syndicated the debt across 18 banks and entered into permanent financing that will sit on the company's capital structure.
