Amazon Just Brought Same-Day Delivery to GLP-1 Weight-Loss Drugs

Amazon Pharmacy has announced that it will begin offering Eli Lilly's new GLP-1 pill, Foundayo, through its Amazon Pharmacy service, in nearly 3,000 cities and towns, with plans to expand to about 4,500 by the end of the year. The move aims to reduce friction at every step of the treatment, from prescription to pickup, with customers with a valid prescription able to order the medication online and receive it the same day. With insurance, foundayo may cost as little as $1 per day or about $25 per month for those paying out of pocket, and pricing is around $5 per day, or $149 monthly.
