WK26, the annual tag team between WWE and 2K Games, has been upgrading and enhancing the player experience with the release of WWE 2K26. The game will feature three factions in The Island, no longer focusing on Roman Reigns, with three factions leading the battle for supremacy. The arena where Reigns was defeated in 2K25 is now known as The Scrapyard and four new progression tiers for created Superstars for players to progress through. MyRise, a popular mode that allows players to use their created characters, features an all-new story dominated by Paul Heyman and a new player's return after a two-year hiatus. The Superstar roster features an array of current and legendary WWE stars, including Rhea Ripley, JC Mateo, Rey Fenix, and Talla Tonga, and new women's intercontinental champion AJ Lee.
