Larry Stein, the top lawyer for Timothy Busfield, has criticized the parents of The Cleaning Lady child actors, who are accused of child sex abuse. This comes after Stein appeared alongside Melissa Gilbert on Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos, stating that the parents are criminals who served more than three years in jail and lost their license to practice law for defrauding 1,500 people of $6,000,000. Stein also stated that both parents of the twin child actors are on the long witness list submitted by Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman. The case against Busfield is set to go to trial on February 6 and a May 20 trial date is set for later this year.
