Idania J. Morena-Paal and Rudolfo Figuera, both from Rolling Meadows, Illinois, are facing felony charges for allegedly performing dental procedures without licenses at their home in Granite City. The alleged incidents left one patient with an infection that worsened and caused fluid to leak from her ears. The investigation began in mid October when a woman reported having had dental treatment from MorenaPaal. Investigators found dental equipment, medications, over $1,000 in cash, six cellphones, and various financial records. Both individuals were released from custody as their case proceedings continue.
