Apple has included excellent display panels on iMacs for years, but there has been a lack of a way to use them for anything other than Mac. A new solution involves a 4K capture card and an app from the Mac App Store that allows users to stream Switch 2 games on their iPad or iMac displays at 4K resolution. The U.S. manufacturer, U.ä.vant, however, has discontinued its feature called Target Display Mode, which was initially removed due to technical limitations. The app for this solution requires a $9.99/year subscription, but it has a free trial and features additional features like brightness adjustment.
