North Texas rallies for win over Rice, clinches spot in American Conference tournament

North Texas secured a spot in the American Conference tournament after rallying from a 14-point deficit to secure a win over Rice. Sophomore Je'Shawn Stevenson led the rally with 10 straight points, leading UNT to a 62-58 victory. Stevenson's free-fire in the closing seconds secured UNT's place in the tournament. The win leaves UNT with an 18-13 record and an 11-11 record.
