Coney Island Park Opens With Free Rides And New Celebrations

Luna Park in Coney Island will open its 2026 season with a two-day opening weekend celebration, featuring free rides, treats and seaside festivities. The event will also feature the Coney Isle Cyclone, which turns 99 in June. A portion of the opening weekend proceeds from on-site Luna Boardwalk Pass sales will be donated to local charities. The park will be open daily during Spring Break and until Memorial Day, with admission starting at 11 a.m.
