State lawmaker plans appeal after ballot disqualification

A judge has disqualified state Rep. Rebecca Dow from the ballot, stating that her nominating petitions do not comply with the law that allows voters to review and challenge nominating petitions. The decision was made in response to criticism of Dow's use of the state's new online system. The state's Republican leader, however, stated that the disqualification was not due to any wrongdoing but a flaw in the system.
