The first full moon of spring, named the Pink Moon, will occur on April 1, according to the Farmer's Almanac. Despite its name, the moon will not actually look pink. It is also known as the Paschal Moon due to its occurrence after the spring equinox. The next full moon will be called the Flower Moon on May 1, and there will be two full moons in May, a phenomenon known as a "blue moon." The reason for the name is not the color but the color of the pink flower, which was in full bloom during the month's full moon.
