A columnist in northern California, K.C. Meadows, a columnist, predicted in 2006 that the Iran War would end by 2026, ending in favor of President Barack Obama. His predictions were off-base, but serve as an interesting snapshot of the hopes and fears of a different era. The predictions, which were largely accurate, included the idea that Dick Cheney would serve as president. The article also predicted that gas prices would be at $15.50 per gallon and a ban on cars and 24-hour bus service for new housing developments in Mendocino County, which has been a hub for marijuana cultivation since the mid-2000s. However, current President Donald Trump has launched a new war against Iran without clear objectives.
